SWORN To Release 'Bastards And Conquerors' This Month

October 7, 2009

Twilight-Vertrieb has set an October 30 release date for the new album from Norway's SWORN, entitled "Bastards and Conquerors".

According to a press release, "Bastards and Conquerors" sees SWORN bringing "the expression 'melodic extreme metal' to a level beyond your imagination. Nine tracks of melancholic metal, mixed with powerful rhythms and aggressive instrumental abuse. All enclosed with that haunting atmosphere you can expect from SWORN.

"With their new member Dag Anderson (AETERNUS, DEATHCON),SWORN releases a worthy follow-up to their debut. 'Bastards and Conquerors' is faster, darker, more aggressive, and even more atmospheric. [It was] mastered at Cutting Room (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, WITHIN TEMPTATION) and mixed by Bjørnar E. Nilsen (VULTURE INDUSTRIES, BLACK HOLE GENERATOR),who also has a guest appearance on the album."
